New Wheels optional on 20-inch VENTRY Fans

Universal Upgrade: Single and Dual Light Bases

As of Spring 2008, the bracketry that holds the polelights to the frames of all LENTRY Units has been upgraded. Instead of the white t-shaped bracketry that held the polelight fixed before, LENTRY Systems will now have a deep, powder-coated bracket with a locking handle which allows the polelight to be quickly separated from the frame. This new bracketry was used originally on extra tall XT polelights, but was such an improvement, we now use them on all LENTRY systems. Existing units can be upgraded! At left is the discontinued polelight-to-frame bracketry. At right is the new, deep, locking Single Light Base (with no polelight in it). Below is a Dual Light Base, used on Dual LENTRY Units. It holds two lights at the unit’s sides. Customers with existing LENTRY Units can upgrade to the new Light Bases. If your generator has enough power (is an EU2000i or PC17Ri), you can get a second polelight and a Dual Light Base, for those generators will power two 650W lights at once for 50,000 lumens of light in all directions! The Single and Dual Light Bases allow you to detach polelights easily from the complete LENTRY Unit for transport or storage separate from the generator and frame. You can also switch between different lights or use the polelight off the LENTRY unit for lighting elsewhere (A handy option for making your polelight multipurpose is the new Polelight Truck Mount Option for mounting the light to a wall or compartment. Beam light in all directions! The EU2000i generator will power two of our hi-infrared/high output 650W Telescoping Polelights at once, providing 50,000 lumens of light! The efficient system will run these two lights for several hours on a single 1.1-gallon tank of gas (by our calculations, more than 6 hours).

Complete LENTRY Units with Dual Lights include the Honda EU2000i generator, the associated LENTRY Frame/Legs, and two 650 watt telescoping polelights. Choose lights with extra tall “XT” poles, standard height poles, or one of each as shown at right.

Polelights disconnect from the frame by simply turning a knob and ligting them out. The whole unit breaks down as shown below (click to enlarge), making it especially easy to transport and store. The dual light base, which allows for two lights at once on a LENTRY unit, is available separately to retrofit existing units.

Polelight Truck-Mount Option Now Available for LENTRY Systems

Now available: an option for mounting LENTRY™ telescoping polelights to the side of your truck, so they serve double-duty while technically “in storage.” With the turn of a knob, the XT polelights on extra tall LENTRY Generator & Light Frames separate from the unit for easy transport and storage. With the new Truck-Mount Option, the polelight may now be stored on the side of the truck or vertically in a compartment. Since the polelight can still telescope up and down, if it’s near an outlet it will also serve as truck-mounted lighting whenever needed. This option is offered with extra tall XT units in mind, but works with standard height systems also (See footnote below).

The Polelight Truck-Mount Option includes a pair of heavy-duty brackets with quick-connecting rings. The rings attach to the polelights of LENTRY Systems using set screws. The pair of main brackets bolt to the truck or other surface and include plunger mechanisms which grab and hold the rings---and, therefore, the whole polelight---securely in place. Whenever you need your complete LENTRY System, the polelight is convenient to grab and go!

Footnote: *Standard height LENTRY Systems (those that stand about 4.5 feet high with legs and light fully extended) may be easily upgraded, for about $70 plus shipping, to allow quick separation of the polelight from the frame, if not already equipped.

LENTRY Portable Generator Lights now available in Extra Tall

LENTRY® GENERATOR & LIGHT FRAMES by J. Neils Enterprises, Inc. are now available with the option of an extra tall “XT” polelight. All complete LENTRY Systems include:

• a Honda super-quiet generator
• a patented, all-terrain tripod LENTRY Frame/Legs
• a telescoping, articulated Polelight

LENTRY Frames and lights may be purchased separately to retrofit, adding all-terrain capabilities to existing Honda EU1000i or EU2000i generators. Standard height LENTRY units stand 4.5 feet high with legs and light fully extended. New, extra tall XT models stand over 8.5 feet tall when fully extended. LENTRY XT units are ideal for illuminating flaggers, scene investigation, disaster recovery and other large-scale lighting tasks in unpredictable terrain.

Ready to carry to remote locations or set up on-the-spot, LENTRY Systems provide quiet, fuel-efficient power and light and are not rendered useless by steep, cluttered, or wet terrain. They offer computer-safe power for running tools and communications equipment as well as light. Units may be set up on hills, in mud, standing water and snow, and straddle obstacles while keeping the generator level and dry. The legs and lights on all LENTRY units retract to fit small storage compartments.

XT polelights retrofit to existing LENTRY systems, with a heavy-duty mounting bracket that allows you to switch back and forth between XT and standard height lights and to store the XT polelight separately from the frame/generator, if desired. LENTRY units can now multi-purpose as truck-mounted lighting as well.

LENTRY Systems provide 25,000 to 35,000 lumens of light for up to 13.5 hours on a single tank, depending on the combination of light and generator chosen. XT polelights may also be purchased separately to retrofit existing LENTRY units.

Either light head (650W high-IR or 1500W) are available as XTs.

Point of Entry Safety Light Option (POE Safety Light)

J. Neils Enterprises has introduced the Point of Entry Safety Light option for VENTRY® FANS. The light on the PPV fan is ideally positioned to reveal entry point hazards and show firefighters the way out and the fan’s position upon exit (keeping them from tripping over the fan during rapid egress)! The POE Light is powered by an alternator in the fan’s engine, provides 50 or 100 watts of light (depending on the model) directly into the structure, and can be rotated for lighting exterior operations. The optional light can be turned on and off as needed, folds down when not in use, and adds nothing to the fan’s storage dimensions. This option is available with new GX-series VENTRY Fans.

J. Neils Enterprises announces Honda EU2000i model LENTRY units with 1500 Watt Lights

J. Neils Enterprises now offers the patented LENTRY® GENERATOR & LIGHT FRAME with the Honda EU2000i generator and a 1500 watt pole light. Both models of LENTRY, the EU1000i and EU2000i are available with 650 watt lights, but now the EU2000i can also come with the 1500W.

Providing cordless light and power, LENTRY units have three extending/retracting steel legs which lift and level the generator on uneven or steep terrain, placing controls within easy reach of the operator and keeping the generator out of the mud and sand. The complete unit includes an articulated telescoping pole light with three adjustment knobs for aiming in all directions without repositioning the whole unit. LENTRY light and power systems extend to over 4.5 feet high and retract to under 22 inches high for one-person transport and compact storage.

J. Neils Enterprises now offers the patented LENTRY® GENERATOR & LIGHT FRAME with the Honda EU2000i generator. Frames can be purchased separately, but EU1000i and EU2000i generators require different frames.

J. Neils Enterprises announces new LENTRY Generator & Light Frames for Emergency Scene Lighting

Developed by the firefighters of J. Neils Enterprises, new LENTRY® GENERATOR & LIGHT FRAMES offer the patented all-terrain capabilities previously available only on VENTRY® PPV Fans. The tripod-like LENTRY Frame lifts and levels a Honda EU1000i or EU700i generator, allowing the unit to face any direction and operate on any surface. This unit is light weight enough to be carried to a remote location by a single person, with a shoulder starp available for added ease. The generator and light can be placed wherever needed, for flat, dry spots and extension cords are not necessary. In seconds the unit sets up on stairs, on the side of a road, on a roof . . . The telescoping, articulated 650 watt/120 volt Halogen light is front- or side-mounted as needed, leaving ample access to the extra plug-in and allowing for multiple storage configurations.

Fully extended, standard height LENTRY units beam light from 4.5 feet up yet retract to a compact 21” for storage, with stable operation throughout the full range. LENTRY is rugged, efficient, and adaptable for real-world, unpredictable emergency scenes. All components are available separately for price-conscious departments; simply retrofit the LENTRY Frame without modifications to your existing generator or generator with light.

NOTE: Extra Tall XT units stand 8.5 feet tall and are great for lighting flaggers and other night scenes.
