ALERT: Two things every VENTRY Fan owner should know:

1. Because of the very focused, narrow air cone, VENTRY fans should be placed farther back from the target than you may have done with other fans, usually 1.5 times the height of the opening. (Click here for more info). For maximum air volume, err on the side of placing the fan too far away, rather than too close, to the target.

2. Always extend the legs on your VENTRY Fan when in use. This prevents debris pickup and ejection. The propellers are pulling so much air that they will even try to pull air out of the dirt if they are too low. Just extend the legs a minimum of 6 inches every time you run your VENTRY Fan. This will allow for higher air volumes anyway, as more air is allowed to reach the propeller.

Can VENTRY Fans be moved while in use?

We have noticed caution stickers on other brands of PPV blowers, prominently warning "DO NOT MOVE BLOWER WHILE OPERATING," but with VENTRY fans, go ahead. It is OK to move VENTRY Fans while they are running because our propellers are very strong but lightweight. They will not harm to the engine if bumped and/or moved while they are running.

The only caution we have is that the fans push a lot of air, and therefore, have a lot of thrust! If a fan is running and you move it, use common sense: throttle it down and hold on tight. Remember, at full RPM our fans push up to 25 pounds in the opposite direction!

Click here for more info on thrust and photos of how we used a fan to move two boat docks, thanks to thrust.
