BID SPECIFICATIONS FOR VENTRY ELECTRIC FAN, MODEL 20-E1.5
- Fan shall have a 1.5 horsepower three-phase electric motor.
- Drive/controller (inverter) shall be supplied by 110-115V (+/-10%) single phase with 0 to 230V three phase output to the motor, with a variable speed output of 0 to 3600 RPM (0 to 60 Hz).
- Fan shall be available with a choice of plugs, including locking Nema plug L5-20 (standard) and nonlocking Nema plug 5-20.
- Fan current shall be limited to 20 amps or less, even at start-up (no initial power spike).
- Fan shall have a tripod frame with three independently extendible, adjustable legs making it capable of rising at least 14 inches above the ground in order to allow aiming of the air stream over obstacles such as residential entry steps.
- Fan shall be able to be placed on stairs or uneven ground and shall be capable of straddling 12-inch high ground debris.
- Fan shall be capable of fitting in a compartment measuring 24 inches high x 24 inches wide x 22 inches deep.
- Base model fan, without options, shall weigh less than 73 pounds.
- Fan shall produce at least 12,000 CFM verified by a thrust value of 9.3 pounds or more.
- Fan shall have a fail-safe 20-inch, two-blade, aircraft-style propeller consisting of a vibration-dampening wood core with pressure-bonded, quadruple-layer fiberglass and Kevlar® outer structure.
- Fan shall have a free-flowing wire guard which excludes objects larger than a 1/2-inch probe.
- All electrical components of the fan shall be UL listed (Underwriters Laboratories) and CSA listed (Canadian Standards Association).
- Fan motor shall be covered under Baldor Electric Company’s 18-month
warranty, fan drive under Baldor Electric Company’s 24-month warranty,
other components by Ventry Solutions’ five-year warranty. - Fan shall come with Solid Rubber Wheels and a rear Folding Tow Handle
which includes two 98 mm diameter polyurethane Razor® scooter wheels
with ABEC-5 bearings and a powder-coated steel tow handle which folds
down against the fan body when not in use. - Fan shall come with one Ultimate Door Stop which can be used in at least
four different ways to hold a door open at a 90° angle. - Fan shall be available with the optional low-pressure water Misting Ring
Kit with a flushable 22-micron filter and four adjustable nozzles.
