Troubleshooting

I already have a generator but want a LENTRY! Is this possible?

Yes; and it is easy! LENTRY Legs (also called LENTRY Stands or LENTRY Frames) and the telescoping pole lights retrofit to existing generators and are sold by themselves (see our Combos and Pricing page). They are generator-specific: one frame fits Honda EU2000i generators, another fits Honda EU1000i generators, and another fits Baldor PC17Ri generators.

The telescoping pole lights are sold only with the frames or to those that already have the frames because the lights attach to the frames via a single or dual light base. Our telescoping polelights do not attach directly to the generators as other gen/lights do. You can add the LENTRY Legs to your existing generator, or add both the Legs and a Light, in just a few minutes.

Which generator should I get?

Consider your power needs and storage limitations. The EU2000i is more popular due to providing twice the power, but is larger than the EU1000i.

The EU1000i provides 1000 watts of power for starting and is rated for 900W continuous.

The EU2000i provides 2000 watts of power for starting and 1600W continuous.

The PC17Ri provides 1650 watts of power for starting and 1400W continuous.

The 650 watt hi-IR light uses most of the available wattage from the EU1000i and without the light, we have been able to run only small appliances such as a coffee maker. With the 650W light, the EU2000i can still run additional tools, leaving 950 watts to spare. The PC17Ri will have about 750 watts to spare when running one 650W light. The 1500W light utilizes all wattage from the EU2000i and is not available with the EU1000i or PC17Ri generators.

Honda EU2000i and Baldor PC17Ri generators can power two 650W lights simultaneously, for 50,000 lumens of light at once.

How do you get more power from the 1000 watt and 2000 watt Honda generators?

Both generators may be linked to another of the same wattage (EU1000i to another EU1000i or EU2000i to another EU2000i) to realize twice the wattage/power output. An optional Honda Parallel Cable is required (not available through our internet site) and it fits both generators.

Can Honda EU-series generators charge car batteries?

Yes! And LENTRY Legs make it really easy by allowing for setup of the generator on a slanted or otherwise imperfect surface and lifting the generator up within easy reach. An optional Honda DC Charging Cable is required (not available through our internet site) and it fits either Honda generator.
