How do I choose which light? And what are my options?

Two different lightheads are offered on LENTRY Systems. Choose from either 650W high-infrared or 1500W. Both lights are available attached to either standard height or extra tall XT poles.

With the EU1000i generator, the 650 watt light uses the generators' rated power load.

With the EU2000i or PC17Ri generator, the 650W light leaves enough power to run additional tools or even a second 650W light.

The 1500W light head utilizes the full load of the EU2000i and is extremely bright! It is too powerful for the rated loads of the EU1000i and PC17Ri generators.

For run-times of various light and generator combinations, see the Generator Specs page.

How much light does each bulb produce?

Our 650 watt hi-IR light provides more light than most 1000 watt bulbs. If desired, the 650 watt bulb may be replaced with a typical 500 or 750 watt halogen bulb from your local hardware store. Backup light bulbs are available through us, just call.

Above is a graphic showing why we offer the two light heads that we do (650W and 1500W), and comparing the different light head wattages available. You can see that in some cases, there would actually be less light with higher wattages!

The 650W hi-IR light produces 25,000 lumens. The 1500W light produces 35,000 lumens. For 50,000 lumens, Dual LENTRY Systems are a great option.

How do the lights attach to the generator?

The telescoping polelights attach to the frames/legs using either a Single Light Base or a Dual Light Base. Lights do not attach to the generator on LENTRY Systems. (Note, the light heads and telescoping poles are connected and do not separate).

The lights plug into the generator but do not physically attach to it the way other generator light kits do, thereby allowing easy access to all the plug-ins.

With new LENTRY XT models, the frame-to-polelight bracket makes LENTRY polelights interchangeable so you may switch between standard height and extra tall polelights as needed. To upgrade your standard height LENTRY Unit to the locking bracket, give us a call. It is about $65 plus shipping to upgrade.

The standard height light can be moved easily to the front of the frame or the side, depending on your needs. Multiple light configurations make storage easy.

Below are two pictures showing LENTRY units with standard height lights and 1000 watt EU1000i generators. Both units have legs and light fully extended, but they also retract for easy transport and storage. On the left, the light is mounted on the front of the frame. On the right, it is mounted on the side.

Click here for an important announcement regarding a universal upgrade to LENTRY Units not yet shown in photos!
