What if I have trouble with my LENTRY unit?
If your generator does not start easily or stay running, please check the gasoline! Gas that has been in the unit for more than 6 months may not work well. Try new/fresh gas (high octane is recommended). Then, run the generator at least 10 minutes to get all the old gas out of the fuel system. For normal maintenance, we recommend you run the generator once a month, for a minimum of 15 minutes; it needs to be run long enough to get the carbon burned out! Note: Honda recommends adding fuel stabilizer to any gasoline which will be stored longer than 90 days.
If your generator runs and stalls, check to see if the fuel vent lever on top is aligned properly with the ON mark. If lifted slightly while turning it to ON, it is possible to go too far. Move the lever back and forth between ON and OFF to make sure the vent lever lines up properly.
If the polelight you have does not turn on, the most common cause is the switch. Try switching it on and off repeatedly and rather violently. This will usually resolve the problem. If it does not, please call us.

How do I get replacement bulbs?
We keep a few replacement bulbs in stock for immediate shipment. Click here for our catalog showing bulbs and pricing.
Please note that from June 2010 to December 2010, most LENTRY Systems utilize 750W bulbs instead of the 650 watt hi-infrared (Hi-IR) bulbs. The two bulbs are interchangeable in most LENTRY Lights. 500W halogens may also be used in a pinch, but offer not even half the light of the 650W bulb. Click here for complete details on the bulbs.
We are not aware of an adequate substitute for the 1500W bulb (used in single standard and single XT 1500W polelights), but can ship one to you in a hurry. Give us a call or send an email.
