LENTRY Generator with Legs - Charging the Battery on the Fire Boat
James and Ken responded to an emergency call on Hauser Lake and found that the battery on the fire boat was not strong enough to turn the engine over! They quickly employed a LENTRY unit and charging cable (optional accessory), and were able to recharge the battery enough that it started the boat. Only a few minutes were lost and they were on their way. Click the thumbnails below for larger pictures.

In this instance, a LENTRY with the EU1000i generator was used. The light was not needed so had been disconnected and left behind. This reduced the weight and allowed James to get just the generator-with-legs to the boat faster. |

The search turns out to be a false alarm, but James, Ken, and the Sheriffs involved, made it to the local newspaper, the Coeur d’Alene Press (pdf file of the article will open).
