Photoshoot at the Railroad: All of the LENTRY Polelights Shown in Action!

As of last count, there are 131 possible combinations of generators, legs, lights and heights of LENTRY Generator & Light Systems. It is not possible to show all of them, but in the photos on this page, James and I tried to show five possible polelights in action, plus a few units with dual 650W lights (the ABC LED was not yet available when we took these, so it is not shown).

These were all taken during a one-evening photoshoot. These photos were taken with a little digital Canon Powershot A540 camera set on Auto and with the flash turned off (unless otherwise noted). I have tried to include relevant details next to each photo. Please call with any questions or for more information. ~ Joan

The two photos on the left both show an FRC LED, XT height.

In the upper left photo, the flash is the only light source.

In the lower left photo, taken a few seconds later, the flash is off and the FRC LED is the only light source.

The FRC LED lit the 300 foot line of railcars and well beyond.

Above: James sets up an EU1000i
with the 650W FRC XT. It is lighting a light-less EU2000i LENTRY unit.

In these four photos, LENTRY Units with the EU2000i generator and single extra tall XT polelights are shown.

These seven photos show an EU2000i with dual 650W ABC lights. Aiming the lights in different directions is a much better use of the 50,000 lumens the two lights produce. The only difference in the photos is where the lights are pointed and whether the XT-height polelights are up or down (fully extended or not).

These five photos show different shots of the same unit. This LENTRY System has the EU2000i generator and a single FRC LED extra tall XT polelight. The output of the LED light was incredible. Sadly, my photos just do not do it justice! In the lower left photo, the FRC LED is aimed slightly up; in the other four, it is aimed straight forward.

These pictures were taken in an open area with the lights pointed at the side of a train 350 feet away.

With the FRC LED, James and I are confident that we could have read a newspaper standing near that train!

All photos show the EU1000i generator with either a standard height FRC LED (the wide head on a short pole) or a 650W ABC XT (square head on tall pole).

Below is a series of pictures taken with the units next to a train and aimed down the railroad tracks. As in all these photos, the camera was set on auto, so it made adjustments based on the type of light it identified.

These pictures may be helpful in showing the advantage of extra tall XT lights over shorter standard height polelights.

Upper 3 photos show different views of an EU2000i LENTRY Unit with dual 650W ABC polelights, both XT height

EU2000i with single 1500W ABC, XT height. Polelight is extended in one photo but lowered/down in the other.

This is the same as the photo directly above it, except with James standing nearby as a height reference. LENTRY Portable Light Systems with XT polelights stand about 8.5 feet tall when fully extended. Click here for more specifications.
