PLEASE NOTE: The housing on ABC 650W lights (including standard height, extra tall XT, and Fixed lights) - are changing. Some photos on the website and literature may not yet be updated. Please click here for details. |
Complete LENTRY® units include one Generator, one Frame (also called Legs), one Light Base, and one or more telescoping Lights. The lights are sometimes called pole-lights because the pole and light heads can not be separated.
On this page, we detail the lights available for use on/with LENTRY units. Please note, the total wattage of the light or lights chosen must not exceed the rated wattage of the generator.

Light Output
There are many different lights available with LENTRY Units! The lights we offer provide the most light using the least amount of wattage, representing the most efficient lights and the best value for our customers. Higher wattage lights exist but we do not offer them because they produce less light, cost more, and use more energy, representing inferior value to our customers.
Our lights include...
- 240 watt LEDs with 20,000 lumen output;
- 650 watt Hi-Infrared (Hi-IR) lights with 25,000 lumen output;
- 2-headed lights that take 1300W but output 50,000 lumens (they actually have two 650W Hi-IR bulbs);
- and 1500 watt lights that output 35,000 lumens.
At right is a graphic showing why we offer lights with the 650W hi-IR and 1500W bulbs. It shows how much light each produces and shows that other lights would require more power to run but provide less light and cost more. Click the chart to enlarge it. |

Our 650 watt hi-IR light bulbs provide more light than 750W bulbs and even more than most 1000 watt bulbs!
|
As a backup, the 650 watt bulb is interchangeable with a 750W halogen (21,000 lumens) or, in a pinch, a 500W halogen from your hardware store (though it will be much, much less light). We know of no suitable substitute for the 1500W bulbs. Backup and replacement light bulbs are available through us. Click here for bulb pricing and part numbers.
The 1500W light head utilizes the full load of the EU2000i and is extremely bright! It is too powerful for the EU1000i generator. |
GE stopped making the 650W Hi-IR bulbs for a while during 2010, so we switched over to 750W bulbs. The 650W bulbs have since come back and are a better bulb (more light, less wattage). The two bulbs are interchangeable, so if you have a LENTRY with single or dual or 2-headed lights and the bulbs are 750W, you can use 650W bulbs going forward and have more power from your generator. Please click here for info about the bulb change.
Generators and Wattage
The light or lights you choose for your LENTRY unit must not exceed the rated wattage on the generator you choose. Below is a simple chart. Click here for more detailed generator specs.
