From Firefighting to Farming

Dial 9-1-1 and chances are that a rural volunteer fire department will show up. In 1989 John Neils joined his local VFD in Hauser, Idaho. Soon after, he was “volunteered” by the Chief to engineer and build a positive pressure ventilation fan (PPV is used by firefighters to blow smoke out of burning buildings). The fan was quickly noticed by nearby departments, requests poured in, and fan manufacturing soon preempted the construction business John had started in 1968. J. The three components are sold separately so that those who already have EU1000i or EU2000i generators can add the frames and lights or just the frames – without modification and without having to buy another generator.

LENTRY units are used in the fire/rescue industry for portable scene lighting, but farmers who have seen the unique power and light system and have been quick to order them for private use.
